Description
Our own .25° Maple Shaped Shim used to change the angle of a bolt-on neck.
Using anything other than properly gauged wooden shims to adjust your neck will typically create an unwanted gap under the heel of the neck: a dead air space where humidity condenses to swell the wood. Plastic shims should be avoided at all costs.
For full contact shims with precision tapering we offer 3 different versions for changing the pitch of any bolt-on neck. They fit most neck pockets with a rounded heel.
- 0.25° shim offers the most versatility. Stacking them will let you really dial in the neck angle you’re after.
- 0.5° shim is the one you’ll reach for most often. It works great on Fender and many other solidbodies.
- 1° shim is suitable for guitars with Tune-o-Matic bridges or Floyd Rose
